Guy joined Avanti Architects in 2000, having studded Architecture abroad and worked on projects in the middle East and the UK. Since joining the practice, Guy’s interests have been drawn to the positive impact and potential uses of combining hardware and software systems in architecture. He became an Associate in 2006 then Associate Director in 2016 with overall responsibility for IT and CAD technology.

As IT Manager, Guy has advanced Avanti’s computer network to an exemplary standard. In 2008 under his management, Avanti Architects was shortlisted for the Computer Weekly “Best Place to work in IT”. Guy’s ability to spot good opportunities, identify the correct hardware and software packages and his implementation of IT/CAD training and resources  have radically improved the IT system at Avanti and contributed towards the efficient running of the company, keeping it one step ahead in today’s technological climate of cloud services, out-sourcing and business globalisation.
