Watford Mixed Use Campus
HertfordshireAvanti Architects were the Technical Advisor to the West Hertfordshire Hospital NHS Trust working on the development of a Public Sector Comparator design for the Outline Business Case for this major district general hospital. The scheme includes an Emergency Care Centre, a Women & Children’s Centre, a Cardiac ‘Village’ and Day Surgery and Procedures Units.
In addition, Avanti, in association with Benson + Forsyth Architects, was the Lead Architect, Masterplanner and Hospital Trust Advisor for a future £750m regeneration in West Watford, providing a combined health campus for a more sustainable future. Nine stakeholders are working collaboratively to produce a joint masterplan incorporating the hospital site and the surrounding properties, creating a dynamic and visionary renewal of Watford.
