Sherborne School

Doha

The campus has been organised around the needs of the prep and senior schools and an ingenious solution to segregate movement for male and female pupils. Other unique features include a standalone sports complex and an innovative STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Maths) and learning zone.
A bespoke and robust environmental strategy was also developed to meet the extreme demands of the climate including orientating the buildings to exploit the direction of the prevailing wind, using the cooling effect of the ground to condition air through the use of an underground labyrinth and exploiting strategic placement of trees for their evaporative cooling properties.
