PPP Social Housing – Ireland

Avanti Architects have completed delivery on site of 211 social rent homes across 4 sites in the Republic of Ireland. This forms part of a large programme of delivery led by Ireland’s National Development Finance Agency with a total of 8 sites being delivered as part of this phase (Bundle 2) with Avanti partnering with Rhatigan Architects and delivered by TORC Sustainable Housing.

BIM Level 2 delivery using an online collaborative environment using Autodesk’s BIM360 ensured coordination and a high level of quality control across the sites, using prefabricated timber frame systems with high levels of thermal efficiency including triple-glazed windows throughout and air source heat pumps.

The adoption of natural stone materials, native tree planting and creation of high quality play areas and landscape secures the long terms sustainability of these developments within their communities.
