Killick Street Urban Regeneration

Avanti Architects assembled the site and prepared a development strategy for housing and medical use for this 1.2 acre scheme in Kings Cross. Having obtained detailed planning consent for the whole project Avanti Architects was employed to provide architectural services for the development of the housing for the Peabody Trust and KUSH Housing Association.

The scheme contains 75 units of social housing with family dwellings located at ground level with gardens, and smaller flats located on the upper stories with balconies. The development has contributed to the regeneration of the area close to Battlebridge Basin on The Regent’s Canal.
