Chemistry Building, University of Lancaster

Avanti were invited to offer proposals for the refurbishment and extension of the chemistry department. We sought to work with the overall masterplan for the campus and to use an underused outdoor area to create a new identifiable heart to the department. An extension to the existing building provided high quality laboratory space for undergraduates and research students.
