Northwick Park Hospital ICU

Avanti are currently working together with the London North West University Healthcare NHS Trust to develop options at Strategic Outline Case stage for a new-build Intensive Care Unit at Northwick Park Hospital.

A series of potential design strategies for the facility are currently being developed, which will support the identification of a preferred option. These options compare alternative bed capacities and delivery approaches, including potential phasing and utilisation of modern methods of construction. The new department will be designed to deliver the highest standard of care, including a focus on providing an exemplary quality of environment for all users. Key features include embedded therapies accommodation, and a new CT scanner that will be shared by other hospital departments.

This continues our 30 year relationship with the trust. A previous project we designed was ACAD Central Middlesex Hospital, the first ambulatory care and diagnostic centre in Europe.
