
Amir Ramezani

Amir joined Avanti in 1994 and became a director in 2010. He is trained as an architect and structural engineer. During his time at Avanti he has been responsible for a number of our award winning projects including The Makers mixed use development, The Urswick School, Jesus College Cambridge, Haggerston School and the Tybalds Estate regeneration.
Amir’s strengths lie in strategising and transforming our client’s businesses. This has in recent years focused on education, housing and regeneration projects. His ability to think holistically allows bold and innovative concepts to be fully realisable. He is also a strong advocate for more flexibility and adaptability in buildings.
Amir is a design review panel member for LB Harrow, Enfield and Hounslow and has a strong determination to deliver high quality design outcomes. Amir also sits on the London Advisory Committee of Historic England, overseeing major schemes that have an impact on the historic environment.
Amir has travelled widely delivering projects in Europe, China, Middle East and Brazil. His experiences have provided him with a deep understanding of what makes our cities and built environment vibrant, enjoyable and ultimately sustainable.
