St Mary’s Primary Care Centre Opens
30 May 2019Avanti & Health Service Executive’s new 6500sqm Primary Care Centre Located on the grounds of St Marys Health Campus, Cork has been officially opened by the Taoiseach Leo Varadkar, who praised the “inspiring and beautiful design of the building”.
Built to serve the health needs of 40,000 local people, the centre is the largest primary care building of its kind in Ireland. It brings together GP accommodation, Mental Health Day Unit facilities, Nursing Clinical Areas, Dental, therapies, SaLT, Physiotherapy and teaching spaces for University College Cork, with a triple height central internal street space connecting the various departments together.
