Oxford University Housing Planning Win

Avanti has recently obtained planning consent for the development of new student residential accommodation at Regent’s Park College in Oxford. The proposed site is located on Banbury Road, a prominent thoroughfare in north Oxford. The project involves the refurbishment and extension of an existing student house, resulting in the creation of 19 study bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms, along with communal student amenities. The design of the elegant two-story extension has been carefully executed to harmonize with the neighboring properties and make a positive contribution to the conservation area. The construction phase of the project is scheduled to commence in 2024.

Regent’s Park College, a Christian foundation within the University of Oxford, boasts a town centre campus situated near St Giles, a major thoroughfare. The college offers a wide range of undergraduate and postgraduate courses, primarily in the arts and humanities disciplines. The town center campus encompasses various teaching and residential facilities, including the renowned Angus library and archive. This library houses a significant collection of Baptist history and global heritage materials.
