New Healthcare Appointments

Avanti are currently working together with the London North West University Healthcare NHS Trust to produce a Development Control Plan for the Ealing Hospital Site. The project proposals involve both upgrade and refurbishment of the existing 1970s hospital buildings, as well as new build elements. The development is intended to be delivered in a sequence of phases over the next 15 years, to provide modern health facilities on the Ealing site, and address the current and future health needs of the local community.

We are also currently working for the same client developing options at Strategic Outline Case stage for a new-build Intensive Care Unit at Northwick Park Hospital. A series of potential design strategies for the facility are currently being developed, which will support the identification of a preferred option. These options compare alternative bed capacities and delivery approaches, including potential phasing and utilisation of modern methods of construction. The new department will be designed to deliver the highest standard of care, including a focus on providing an exemplary quality of environment for all users. Key features include embedded therapies accommodation, and a new CT scanner that will be shared by other hospital departments.
