New appointment – council-led housing in Lewisham

Avanti Architects have been appointed by Lewisham Council to develop proposals for new council-led housing across the borough. Lewisham is the second fastest growing inner London Borough expected to reach 318,000 people by 2021.

The new housing programme responds to issues of acute housing shortage by providing high-quality, inclusive accommodation that addresses a range of specific housing needs. Our proposals promote community cohesion by integrating supported living accommodation together with larger dwellings for homeless families, supporting residents in times of need and helping residents remain in their local community.
