Dover housing submitted for planning

Avanti Architects have submitted a planning application for 65 mixed-tenure housing units in central Dover for Dover District Council. This mid-rise scheme for two sites within view of Dover castle responds to a dramatic hillside setting and stitches back together a traditional street pattern lost through bomb-damage and post-war planning.

The scheme incorporates a pocket park to be developed as a community-led initiative and seeks to set a benchmark for a new wave of high-quality development in Dover.
