Director Adrian Miles joins RIAI

18 February 2026

Avanti Architects is pleased to announce that Director Adrian Miles has been admitted to the Register of Architects in Ireland and is now a Member of the Royal Institute of the Architects of Ireland (RIAI), alongside his existing professional registration in the United Kingdom.

This milestone reflects Avanti’s continued involvement in projects in the Republic of Ireland and our commitment to the exchange of ideas and best practice that comes from working internationally.  Our range of projects across Ireland has expanded considerably in recent years to encompass major social housing programmes, heritage and conservation work, masterplanning initiatives, and primary and acute healthcare developments.

Ireland continues to demonstrate a strong commitment to quality in the delivery of social infrastructure, alongside a clear understanding of the wider social and environmental benefits that good design brings to communities and long-term wellbeing.

Like many countries across Europe, Ireland faces challenges associated with population growth, renewal of legacy infrastructure, demographic ageing, and adaptation to new technologies. Encouragingly, there is strong recognition that architects and built environment professionals play a central role in addressing these issues, reflected in the integration of professional standards within the national regulatory framework.

Adrian and Avanti Architects look forward to continuing to work with partners across Ireland and the UK, collaborating closely with clients and building users to deliver thoughtful, inclusive and sustainable places that support communities now and into the future.
