Avanti selected by University College Hospital

25th April 2014

Avanti Architects have been appointed to the consultancy services framework established by the University College London Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust (UCLH). The framework will be used to select design teams for projects for UCLH, and will also be used by 23 other NHS Trusts in London and the South East of England.

The new framework will operate for 4 years, a period which will see the Trust continue its long-term estates strategy to concentrate its activities on its two main Bloomsbury campuses. UCLH Director of Estates Kieran McDaid said ‘It’s an exciting time at UCLH and this is a fantastic opportunity for the firms that have joined us.’

Avanti Associate Director, Duncan Finch, said ‘we are delighted to have the opportunity to work with one on the UK’s leading NHS Trusts, who have a strong track record of commissioning high-quality healthcare architecture, and who maintain a reputation for innovation in the care they provide’.
