Avanti Appointed to Notting Hill Genesis New Homes Framework

20 July 2022

Avanti Architects have been appointed as framework partners for the new Notting Hill Genesis consultancy framework on the basis of a rigorous selection process with emphasis on quality, as well as equality and diversity.

The highly regarded framework is split into 12 Lots including architects and is open to other registered housing providers operating in and around London to procure through.

Avanti Architects have delivered a range of housing-led projects through the previous Notting Hill Genesis frameworks including a recent Passivhaus project for the London Borough of Newham that won planning last year (pictured) and the Crown Estate Conservation Award-winning restoration and retrofit of social homes within the Grade I listed Isokon Building in Camden.

John Hughes, group director of development and deputy chief executive at Notting Hill Genesis, said: “Our new framework is a key part of our commitment to better quality homes and improving the experience for our residents. The membership of the framework has a greater level of diversity than we have achieved before.

“We want the companies we work with to reflect the communities in which we work. We look forward to working with our framework partners to re-imagine the quality of the homes we provide and together build a better place.”

The framework will run for four years until June 2026, but there is an option to extend this by a further one or two years.
