Regent’s Park College

Oxford

Regent’s Park College is a Christian foundation in the University of Oxford  with a town centre campus situated off the main thoroughfare of St Giles. The campus provides a range of teaching and residential accommodation for undergraduates, postgraduates and fellows across a wide range of building, some of which are statutory listed. Avanti Architects has been commissioned to undertake a full masterplan to be delivered across phases with the aim of renewing a large part of the estate and bringing accommodation up to modern standards.

The masterplan commission includes a thorough review of all college accommodation, details of alterations and interventions within existing buildings to address functional shortfalls and design for a range of new buildings.  Proposals include modernisation of the Angus library and archive, a leading collection of Baptist history and worldwide heritage, purpose built auditorium, new main entrance, and rebuilt residential accommodation.
