Since joining Avanti Architects in 2000, Ronan has developed experience in the design of residential, education and healthcare buildings. In recent years Ronan has led a range of projects in the healthcare and masterplanning sector, including the masterplanning of a major acute hospital.
Ronan has developed a great understanding in integrating the clinical requirements of patients and staff with those of designing a modern contemporary healthcare facility and has demonstrated this in his role on Our Lady’s Hospital Cashel, Kerry General Hospital, Cork University Hospital and a series of primary care centers in Tralee, Dungarvan and Carrick-on-Suir.
Ronan has also successfully completed current RIAI Health and Safety training modules and has experience in Health and Safety in Design as well as PSDP on many healthcare and related projects.
Ronan also has experience in conservation projects including Our Lady’s Hospital, Cashel and South Parade.
Within the studio Ronan leads the development of Avanti’s projects in Ireland and set up our operational office in Cork in 2007.
